call from uscis field office
hello everyone, I got an approved Eb2niw I-140 approved a few months ago and got the inteview scheduled at my local Uscis field office in the coming weeks. However this morning I just got a voicemail message from USCIS field office (the phone number looks like it’s a local one) saying that they would like to schedule my interview earlier. They would try to call me back. Is this a legit call, have anyone received direct call like this from uscis before?

Have you tried to google the phone number? I'm pretty sure it would show up if that's their number.

I would wait for an official communication. USCIS does not really call applicants to be honest.

I got the call too and talked to them. they said that they will email me the new schedule.

Few days ago, I received a call about sending my RFE. I was too scared to get the phone call. They ask me some basic questions to verify me. I just confirmed my identity. Then told me about RFE. So, it is legit to get call. But before proceeding try to verify them.

update: it was a legit call, they called me back and told me that they have availability sooner so that was why they called. I kept my original date though.

Uscis do call. They call my friends mother inlaw unexpectedly thinking she will say something different😄😃😀 guys becareful.
