I had a similar issue where they said the sent out biometrics appointment letter and I didn’t receive it. Did they tell you what date of your biometrics appointment? you can reschedule your own. that’s what I had to do and I was able to schedule for the following week

@Garth Gilbert no they didn’t say the exact date it was and more so I’m confused as to how she said there are biometrics already shown related to my EAD, I’m eagerly awaiting this tier 2 phone call to get to the bottom of it.

Mine receipt date is june 21st yesterday i got an update stated my work permit approved and don’t worry about biometrics can be done once you receive the combo card too, its all about time frame

I don't know about the note that biometrics was applied if you never did it, but I do know that usics will process EAD without any biometrics at all because they did it for my son.

@Garth Gilbert @Kerry S @D M Update: so I called them back just to ask the right questions although I am still waiting on the tier 2 callback. I confirmed biometrics are attached to the EAD with with the same date of my initial receipt. now here’s what I’m thinking, I went through heck trying to get a actual police clearance report to include with my forms in Georgia (got sent to so many places and nobody was helpful) so I made an appointment prior to filing and got fingerprinted with the Georgia Beaureau of investigations (FBI division) for a criminal record check and included the watermarked certificate they sent with all my forms. so I’m assuming that was sufficient. I also was told that even though they had biometrics scheduled for the 485 Aug 8th she could also see no notice was ever sent from them.

@oh Canada Ok so try this…. log into your USCIS account, go to the bottom of the page and select “schedule an appointment”. Under “my appointment” there should be an option to view your appointment if you already have one. select it and fill out the information. That appointment that was mentioned to you should pop up there and you may be able to reschedule it.

I was hoping it would help. Maybe too much time has passed between then for it to still show up.

@Garth Gilbert spoke with the tier 2 agent this afternoon, he said they had sent out 485 biometrics appointment request for aug 8th 2024 to my lawyers office and now rescheduled it for Feb 3rd. he also called confirmed biometrics are already reflecting for i765 with the same date as the initial receipt. He said it’s a possibility that because I did an FBI record check and included them with my forms that very well may be why because the agencies share information. he said when I go to my appointment to tell them I’m there for biometrics for both forms and have them confirm in-person whether they still need anything for my EAD and if so have them apply biometrics to both forms. we shall see, fingers crossed however they obtained the biometrics they claim they have are sufficient and my EAD is being processed. thanks for your advice
