biometric reuse
I gave my biometrics for advance parole on 17th. I received a letter yesterday dated 12th May asking me to give biometrics for i485. I guess the letter was generated when they didn't have my biometrics on record.any advice on how to avoid giving the biometrics again.

you cannot avoid it. Suggest you to go for the bio again. If you had taken both the letters together, they could have done both together. You can check with live agent through Emma.

interesting my case is eb1c and I gave my biometrics for AP too. I was thinking that they will use the same for i485 too. but with your message it seems like they will call another biometric for i485

mine is even weirder. I gave biometrics to be applied to I765 and I485. Never got any appointment for I131 biometrics. I am starting to think whether they will reuse the biometrics from i765 to I131 or will they send my appt for I131 biometrics

well, in my situation, they ended up reusing biometrics for all the cases. So I think you will not have to go in for new biometrics. However, no one can predict the ways of USCIS 😙😙😎
