I am of the opinion that the US needs to set immigration laws that Democrats, Republicans as well as Independents can all agree to. Under the current political acts it appears that immigration laws and rules change every time a new administration is sworn in. Why should these changes be precipitated by the result of an election? If the country can't seem to see eye to eye on most issues why not use immigration as a vehicle which repairs relationships lost and broken? Apart from immigration there can be bipartisan support for our infrastructure which by European standards are terribly lacking. Petty politics aside there needs to be a general consensus on the policies that can be implemented and tweaked as needed. Politics must never be allowed to hurt our internal/domestic affairs and if we are to continue growth then all sides need to come together. If I am fortunate to be sworn in one day as a citizen of this great nation I hope by that time our politics can be one we all embrace. There is far too much at stake and guess what our enemies are enjoying the filth being tossed back and forth because it's exactly what they want! Wake up πΊπΈπΊπ²!
