Heron, excuse the questions after a question. Here are my best tips: 1) You are being watched from the moment you step into the field office. Ensure that your body language reflects a loving marriage. 2) When we were called in, my interviewer did a great job pronouncing my last name and I made sure to compliment her. I think this set the tone of the entire interview. What I am trying to say here is to be pleasant regardless of the interviewer’s mood. 3) Answer questions aptly and honestly. As I answered questions, I was providing more proofs in the form of pictures, documents…etc. 4) Make eye connection with your interviewer and spouse when answering. Your spouse should respond to your answers with headnods or possibly interject politely. 5) If you are not given a result at the end, ask. There is absolutely no harm in asking because once you leave that field office, except for an RFE, NOID, or a second interview, all correspondence goes back to NBC AKA you’ll have to contact USCIS via phone or the chat. Ask questions!!! Hope this helps.
