BDV Scam
Take this as a rant but I think we need to do something to the companies like BDV. Thousand of innocent people are being lured into this scam where BDV is still promising them green card in 2 years. Some of these people don’t even know what visa retrogression is and have been paying BDV to start their EB3 green card process. Receintly BDV posted in Facebook stating they have 500 approved LC last month alone. Before that they had a hundred and befor that again 500. It seems like BDV is just trying to make as money as possible by filing for LC, they don’t care anything else.
Don’t know how these people who run BDV sleep at night. There is a special place in hell for people like them who prey on innocent students mostly from developing nations!
Want to warn everyone to stay away from this company!

BDV doesn't care really, it's a company set up to fleece people in promise of an american dream
Just like american government itself
You just have to look out for yourself

@Wating Forever I think someone has to step in and need to make people aware of all this . People are signing up left and right without knowing what they are getting in. People who are stuck in this process don’t have a choice . But the ones that are going to start this process have the choice not to do it. I’m not discouraging anyone but to be honest its not worth it anymore

@Wating Forever so, My LC was approved last week(bdv), and i still have time to pay the amount. what should i do? any feedback for me
Wating ForeverDec 10, 2024
@henry nikolas My LC was filed in December of 2021. I don’t really know when my priority date will be reached. As you have already paid to file for LC it now depends on you if you want to abandon that LC and file an alternative or continue with BDV by paying them further to file for i140. You can file i140 within 6 months of LC being approved, so you do have some time to think about it. I know it’s a really hard decision but if the retrogression continues to be like this then there are thousands of people ahead of you waiting. Also there is a burden to maintain the status even after you file for i140 and until you can file for AOS. To sum up it’s going to cost you a lot of money and time if my opinion at this point. But please do ask around and take suggestion.

@m h I agree. BDV has covered themselves very well with a non refundable contract. I am trying to see if we can get an attorney to take on the case and file a class action lawsuit. There are 38 other people I know who do not want to continue with this process after their employer withdrew their petition. BDV only notified them after they paid to file for I140.

@USCIS IS A MESS I agree that we have to look out for ourselves and I blame myself but no one for falling into this BDV scam. I feel sad for people on F1 visa trying to struggle through the immigration process with BDV. The least we can do is warn these people. It’s the least we can do!

@Wating Forever i agree but doing a case I don’t think so its gonna help. The only thing gonna help people stop applying this process.

I agree BDV shouldn't promise GC in 2 years anymore (or even 3 years), but I find it unfair to call them a scam. Retrogression is not their fault, and they appear to be doing whatever they can on time (mostly). If it wasn't BDV, people would still apply from somewhere else and retrogression would be the same. It doesn't make sense to expect them to stop taking on more clients just because things are taking longer now. Real issues here are USCIS inefficiencies and the current limit of only 10K for unskilled.

it’s sad. when some agency makes this EB3 unskilled messed up

Although I strongly disagree with these sales arguments claiming a green card in two years, I also don’t believe that BDV is a scam. The process timeline does not depend on them, and the situation has only been getting worse in recent years. I am not a BDV client; I found my sponsor on my own. When I started my process, the immigration lawyer handling it said it would take a maximum of two years… and now it’s been five years, and still no green card. I can’t sue the lawyer for this. It’s also important to be careful about spreading information on apps, as they might sue you for defamation if you claim they are a scam company. I hope things improve and everything works out for you.

@Rodrigo Lopes Each and every tactics that this BDV uses is a scam. If you go to their website their timeline still states that a green card process will take around 2 years. Filing for LC and once it gets approved asking clients to pay additional money to file for I140 then stating that the sponsor has pulled out is a scam and there are hundreds of people who have experienced the same. I could care less of them suing me. I know there are people here from BDV who are there to spread good stuff about the company.

@Lawfully User my main concern is the timeline that they have provided. If you get on an initial call with them they will not state anything about retrogression. This is a very unethical tactic that they have deployed. I agree retrogression is not their fault but them apply for thousands of LC each year and giving innocent immigrants a fast forward path to green card is!

Not sure if this helps but BDV lied about revoking of i-140 and then other lies they told me . if needed i can help as well

@Wating Forever bro this is borderline Human trafficking they are pulling. People are just afraid to speak up. Any half decent lawyer will take your case given that you helped DHS in their investigation.Report it to DHS blue campaign.
