if the company that I work for files for bankruptcy, does my process for EB-3 gets dismissed even if the business still exists under different ownership

no, you will need a supplement J form if your i140 and i485 has been approved for more than 180 days.You can stay with ur current employer but be sure to get that supplement j signed.

what if my date is not current. my I-140 is approved but I have filled for I485

talk your lawyer, if your employer does not revoke your i140 then you might be able to file for i485 and port later to a different employer which will save your PD. In case things go south, your case will definitely be in eyes of USCIS.This is a lawyer territory.
