background checks
hello people, asking for a friend here who attended emp based interview in Cleveland 5 months ago in eb1 category. after connecting with tier1 officer they say that the background check is going on and hence they can’t take a decision. what kind of background check would be carried out in emp based category when you have undergone finger printing and everything and how is it different from people who got their GCs so soon when interview was waived off for them . did they not undergo any background checks ? just exquisite.

I have interview tomorrow. I have wet reckless driving on my record. I will let you k ow if they give me same answer tomorrow.

I interviewed 7 months ago under EB2 category and still haven't received a decision on my case. Service requests and inquiry through senator said that my case is "pending adjudication". I've found it impossible to get any useful information and will probably proceed with a lawsuit soon.

ROW, SF field office and case is outside processing time. My guess is that it's stuck in background check.
