background check
I-130 approved after interview in August still awaiting decision no I-765 no I-485 approval. Contacted congressman and Uscis told congressman they can’t issue decision til third party background check is completed …. no criminal history here or home country not even a speeding ticket I-130 already approved what are they waiting on and how long does background checks take … also does it make sense late in this state to try and apply for a advanced parole

@d Pat There has been a pattern of approving I-130s and leaving I-485s in limbo. You should seriously consider suing.

@hopeful 🙌🏼 yes I contacted congress twice both times got told background checks one in December then again couple days ago
