@ H Hh ..my case was pending submitted enquiry via Congress and they said case pending for background check

y k - they run background on everybody. what do you think the biometrics are for? 🙂 even if USCIS don't ask for biometrics, they turn to the FBI for their database and where your background check is ran. the reason for that is to determine whether they grant or deny any benefits/petitions that we submit or not.

y k - it doesn't matter. if you have a petition sent to USCIS they'll run your background. and that takes some time. every time you send a petition to USCIS they check your background. every time.

y k - no one escapes background checking. the time it takes depends on a lot of things. each case is different but we ALL have in common the background check. each one of us.

y k - I just said each case is different. ask USCIS why yours takes longer. only them have that answer. 🙂
