it depends on the receipt because that’s where they states the extension. Moreso to verify your employment, you will have to submit your EAD/AP along with the receipt. Just relax, you will get it, you still have over 2 months to submit

@F A Most people receive the renewal receipt after 2 to 4 weeks so not hearing anything for 6 weeks it’s a bit scary

yes, I think zhen you recieve the receipt you can use it to expand your work I think.

same situation, I signed my forms and I assume my lawyer sent it in September, it expires February though 🤷‍♀️

there is a government webpage you can write your Ssn and it shows you if you can work in US or not. after my work authorization card expired (I filed for the renewal before it expires) I checked on that webpage it was showing as I have a valid SSN and work authorization and I’m eligible to work. @Mandy Miss maybe you can print the result and give your employer

@Mandy Miss I will, it’s really sad. once it’s mid-January I will reach out to my Congress person to help out, I can’t afford to lose my job due to negligence on the part of my lawyer… I really trusted that my reminders, calls and messages will be enough (since July) 😢🥺 fingers crossed we all get our receipts in January or some sort of good news 🙏

@Mandy Miss finally got my receipt notice after back and forth with Congress and my lawyers office. Biometrics has also been applied thankfully 🙏

@O O Guess what??? Mine was already sent since October 29th Had to fight with my paralegals today for them to check and it was in their office the whole time! They just uploaded it for me on their website and I was able to download it. This is unbelievable!!!! But I’m so happy for all of us! 🙏🏾🥺

I’m glad we finally have the extensions needed to keep working… still hoping the entire case doesn’t go past this year… I’m exhausted but I’m also thankful that I’m keeping busy. it’s sad that we still have to put in extra effort to get necessary receipts/ documents but I’m happy we’ve crossed that bridge for now.
