@Jams P once you readdress number you will get FDL letter from US consulate where they will verify your documents finger prints Face ID and for whatever reason you have your green card file means I don’t know in which category you filled your green card…once they verify and you will get FDL letter

@Jams P it depends upon how fast you get appointment because this is special appointment you cannot book by yourself you need attorney or special immigration person in india

@jahnvi patel I have finished six month I am still not trying. I’m not getting any denied boarding because I can’t travel some health issue now I am planning to travel if any issue came or we also need that FDL,DHS reddress, Number

@Hi hi you cannot travel without DHS or FDL letter…it’s mandatory for Indians who are on EAD and specially who has VAWA case I don’t know what case you have

@Hi hi talk to your attorney I can just share and help what I have gone thru and how I am here I have already mentioned that need DHS letter and FDL letter…otherwise no travel and automatically case from uscis will be denied after 8 months

@Hi hi it will take 1.5 months if applied by lawyer and more then 4 mo the if applied by yourself I tried to do but it was very confusing so I hired a lawyer and he helped me

@j j it’s already mentioned up for DHS you need to apply by yourself or with lawyer and once you receive the you have to get You FDL letter…for travelling to US

what does FDL stands for? and can I get this letter while I’m in US before going to India?

@G Singh no this letter cannot get you in US it’s just for the people who are outside of states and denied boarding the flights return back to usa
