my asylum interview done is Sep 2022 and decision still pending in Chicago asylum office.

@mak k reach out to your US representative if you haven’t done it yet and they will be able to submit an inquiry on your behalf to the asylum office handling your application.

contact 1.Asylum office 2.Call USCIS 3.try ombudsman 4.try Congressman you can do it all together at the same time. one of the requirements to file Mandamus is to “exhaust all the possible ways to get the results” and then you can go ahead and file it! mandamus will be the best option

@A.I I @i l Thank you i have tried congressman wasn't any help and have requested uscis again for info if they still say the same will go for ombudsman & then will see hopefully.

@mak k then find a lawyer and file mandamus. mandamus takes now 6-12 months depends on the state….so don’t wait
