asylum green card traveling
a lot of people with asylum granted green card are forced to sign the documents while returning to the us. is it really true ?

I mean it's one of those things where you hear mixed stories but some people feel like they had no choice but to sign when coming back while others might tell a different tale. It really depends on the situation and who you ask for example if someone has criminal charges then that’s not good.

@m s well even some social media is saying even someone has a clean record they also ask to sign form and I am confusing coz my friend is now abroad and don’t know if he can come back .

@Singh1988 As in social media some lawyers are saying a GC surrender documents to sign . I have no idea if that is a true or fake news .

I think that’s not true for all asylum based green card travelers. Unless there are criminal charges or that person overstayed ( > 6 months) or that found he went to his home country. dont believe what you see on social media— most of the social media lawyers make such videos to get clients.
However, I don’t recommend anyone traveling in this administration. better to be safe than sorry.

@sky luck that social media referring to the people who stayed more than 6 months outside of the states which you are not supposed to and also if you are concerned then don’t go bro

@Happy Immigrant I agree with you. I think if you have no criminal record and don’t travel to COP then you should be good. At the end of the day it’s your own decision.
