@nagh tech No interview for me. NBC approved it. I filed in August 2022. Having an interview does not mean something is wrong with your case. rest assured all will okay. Sometimes the officer wants to see you in person to go over the application together. That can also be the case if things are a bit inconsistent in your I-485, especially the question of membership of a social group. if you said no and you asylum you claimed you were a member of a political party or social group. So that can be an issue. They’d want you to clarify that. Sometimes you skipped to answer some inadmissibility questions. But the general rule is that they like to interview when you have dependents in your case (children, wife, etc.) As for the rest, you shouldn’t worry.

@kai naz @Green 2022 We basically went through my application information, correcting mistake my attorney did and some chit chat not related to my case. 1 hour interview.

@Green 2022 if they mistakes are in your application already then you will correct it with officer in person.

It may not take long time for decision. In which FO was the interview? I applied in Nov 2022 & I hope there will be some movement on my case. Did you know about the transfer of your case from NBC to the FO before interview was scheduled?
