Asylum Approval
Hi everyone, I have a quick question. Has anyone experienced this? My attorney received an approval notice on his email I believe and it has been more than 2 weeks. When I check online it still shows “decision pending”. I have not received any original documents for approval and when I contacted USCIS Asylum office they told me my case is still under review and is pending for final review/approval. Anybody experienced same thing?
I’m lost 😭

that’s weird, you should have case status updated online to “Fees were waived “ that’s basically means approved. That’s what I experienced

As for my asylum case, the status changed to waived your fees for I-765, and two weeks later the Certified mail came. If you have a lawyer, let him follow up with them, or send you a copy of the approval he received.
