Asylee seeking to covert to eb3
Hi everyone. does anyone has information on how this works?
I am an asylee with pending case and I did my bachelors here and got an employment. my company started filing for my eb3 and has gotten my I-140 approved. they are about filing my 1-485 and they told me that my application will be sent to nvc of my country and I will travel there for interview on due date.
Has anyone has experience with this? can the interview be conducted here in the US where I reside?

you can't unless you have TPS try to move your interview to a country other than your own

move that interview. why your attorney put your home embassy if you have a pending asylum from that county makes no sense.

after asylum going to the same country for any type of visa is almost abandoning everything. you should choose someother country for interview. other countries consulate processing is faster than filling aos 485 within usa.
