are original documents given back after consulate interview ?
Hi
Going through consulate process. I've read that when at the US Consulate in Johannesburg, South Africa, for the visa interview, they take in the originals of your birth, marriage and police clearance etc. as well as the copies to look at.
Do they give these back after ?

you should bring original copies of everything that was upload on the nvc stage. And they will give u back the original copy
