Congrats!!! 🎉 I submitted evidence over a month ago hoping it would trigger something. Crickets. 🥺

@Gabrielle Chung I just submitted more bonafides of relationship (joint health insurance, beneficiary of life insurance) to the I-130 portal and that triggered the I-131 approval.

@Pri R ahh good luck! Did you check to see if your case is in a field office? Because once it’s been transferred approval should come within a few weeks

@Sam C I don't believe consular cases go to field offices

@Sam C I believe that's the reason. I kept uploading additional evidences throughout the duration of my case and it didn't trigger a thing. I believe they're quicker to approve conditional greencard cases because its more money for them ijs🤷🏾‍♀️

what kind of documents did you upload for evidence? ive been concerned about uploading anything this far along in the process for fear it might trigger a denial

@mike radcliffe My husband uploaded additional bonafides of our relationship that we had accumulated including insurance (joint health insurance, life insurance naming each other as beneficiaries), and tax transcripts that we filed jointly for the 2023 tax year. The additional evidence just gets added to your case to strengthen it so I don’t think it would lead to triggering a denial. But I completely understand the hesitation since they’re such an opaque/black box of an agency.

@teetee fabulous🇯🇲❤️🇭🇹 You could try uploading your I-130 approval as unsolicited evidence to the I-485! I’ve seen people do that in the past

@Sam C ok, ill have to add my tax returns, car insurance and health insurance and lease agreement and see if that forces a decision. ive been waiting since oct of 2022

@mike radcliffe Our lawyer mentioned that they prefer tax transcripts which you can get from the IRS website. And if you haven’t already try contacting your congressperson because that’s such a long wait! Good luck!

@Sam C I'm already approved. My i130 was want stucked. Went from received to approved after 15 months. The time between both approvals were 2 months. I'm just saying throughout the case I kept on uploading and nothing happened. I got both approvals after I contacted my Senator and congressman both twice. I believe i was made to wait only because they know I wouldn't have to take off conditions but only having to do my citizenship🙄😒
