Let me share my joy. I received my Christmas gift of approval of the I-140. The first step of this long and wonderful journey to achieve a common goal was achieved. Now we have to wait several more months for the visa bulletin to be up to date and for a visa to be available for me and my family. I am not sure. My lawyer told me that I have to wait for the official response to review the steps to follow, but I know that I have to pay some fees to NVC and wait for the current visa bulletin, in the meantime gather documents similar to those you gathered for the I-140 plus some additional ones. The estimated waiting time to complete the process is 18 months or more (consular process) So be patient and have faith that everything will be OK

Statistics and a bit of speculation based on how the visa bulletin has behaved over the last 3 years. The reality is that in the last 2 years the bulletin's table A has only moved 5 months, and the trend says that it is not going to improve much soon.

What I am convinced of is that we will get a visa number, until the next fiscal year 2026 if we are lucky.
