@ Exceeding Joy- I think timing of issuing EAD is unpredictable. i was just wondering if you received it before your 140 approval since it’s been 8 months since application.

@Exceeding Joy- my PD is same as yours dec 10 but my 1-140 is still pending.
I got the EAD on Aug 11

I have also applied concurrently for EB2-NW , My question is that, it is important / compulsory to apply for EAD card with 1-140 , I-485 ? after getting Green card , we need EAD card too ? Please advice

@Muhammad. I applied for EAD because that was what I was advised to do. It wouldn’t cost anything extra so why not. Some people get EAD when I-485 is still pending and some only get I-485 approval.
