after getting citizenship uploaded certificate in unsolicited evidence. called uscis same day. next call after 7 days. 3rd call after 20 days. they approved same day on third call. within 2 hours of call approval notice was there under documents tab.

@Adreina r your case is past normal processing time. you need to call USCIS every week and ask them for the update. your case supposed to be approved by now. as normal processing time is 14.5 months for US citizens.

it doesn't look like they are touching F2As until the petitioner naturalizes. CRAZY.

@Mike Raphone you are right. F2A category isn’t current so they are not approving any case. @Adreina r can you explain in English?

How long did it take to change the category in USCIS and how did you do it?

my category f2A and My DQ may 2023 anyone please tell me when my interview becomes 🙏

@Adreina r it takes about 3 weeks. I up loaded Naturalization certificate in my online account under the documents tab. then called USCIS officer to inform them about my naturalization. then Called again after one week to check for update. then again after two weeks called them to check updates and they changed the category and approved the case same day.

@Munawar Saeed I am waiting for a call from an officer. When will they call you? I have already been 30 days but I have not received any changes.

@Adreina r you need to call them yourself then. I called them myself and ask them to change the category. according to normal processing time they have to update within 30 days in case they are not doing that you have to call them and ask them to process the update request.

@sidra ilyas as of now they are working on nov 2021 for F2A category. But hope for best may you get the call soon. In case your spouse get naturalization you can also update your case category with NVC.

@Munawar Saeed We have already waited 30 days and there is still nothing else I can do to get my change made, they told me that they could give me an officer 2 and nothing, we are waiting for the call

@sidra ilyas it was Vermont. they sent my case to NVC just two days ago. isliye pocha k konsay documents bhaijhy NVC ko.

@Adreina r they can’t do that. according to their website they have to respond within 30 days to any service request you make. if they are not able to do that then you can contact them and ask for the reason for no response. you have to push them by calling every week because after citizenship you have a lot more rights which you can exercise.

@Adreina r your other option is to sue them. you can file a petition against USCIS on grounds of no response within due time and keeping your case pending for longer period of time.

@sidra ilyas as per NVC website police certificate from Pakistan isn’t valid kiu k central police record system nahi hai Pakistan main. ye document apny khud say submit kiya tha ya phir ye required tha?

@Adreina r they have an option to transfer your call to tier 2 officer. next time ask them to transfer your call to tier 2 officer and speak to them directly.

Reason is central record system nahi hai. you can get police clearance certificate from different province even if you have criminal records in others. ye cheez NVC k police record walay section main likhi hui hai. yahan picture upload nahi hoti otherwise main wo upload krta
