Approved/ Card Delivered- K1-AOS, April 2023
Sharing timeline, it may be helpful to someone: K1- AOS Entered US on March 28th, 2023 Married on April 7th, 2023 Apply for AOS April 20th, 2024 FO: Los Angeles May 16 actively reviewing case June 11th- medical RFe and evidence for after marriage relationship June 22nd uploaded online DS-325 and explanation why i do not need to resubmit medical. Also , contacted congrassman to do inquiry for medical since it was still valid from K1 process. After 7 days congrassman said uscis liason said we need to resubmi it. So, new medical was done withing 48h, and submited via mail. Now, we somehow missed to submit second part of rfe-bonafide relationship proof ( initialy, in all craziness we both overlooked it, and ,we missed RFE deadline for this part). So, we noticed that 2 weeks after deadline and we wrote cover letter of telling simpe truth that we overlooked it, and submited 35 pages of evidence. We also uploaded every single document online. In addition, we uploaded more documents after rfe submission, like renewed lease, costco cards, etc.. these documents weren’t ready at the time we mailed pther evidence. Status never was updated for this mailed documents, just for initial online submission of vaccination record. So, on Sept 6th, evening I noticed that last update on USCIS online account doesnt match with current date, ( which may be a sign that someone is doing something with your case) and on Sept 7th we were approved , no interview. It took 7 days for status to change to card was produced, and 3 bussiness day to be delivered ( which is today). Never got tracking number, but asked emma agent to provide one, and today after she gave number to me I was able to check that card was delivered. Total will card delivery 152 days. So, not bad, given we were waiting almost 16 months for K1. And learn from our mistske, do not rush through RFE letter. We are super organized and how we missed it was beyond us, that gave us tremendous stress. Anyhow.. I hope this info may be helpful to someone. I wish everyone fast approval!

did your k1/aos go to the uscis online immigration system? my now husband just got his receipt notice by text (not by mail yet) but I’m curious does this mean everything will be online? if so, do we have to make an account on uscis site?

We recieved all notifications vis uscis only portal, rarely via email, never via text. Thus, yes, my reccomendation is to open uscis online account.
