I still did not get my green card. I just applied for GC. It just took my 7 years to get my initial asylum interview scheduled and approved through Mandamus lawsuit.

I-765 is not GC form it just work permit application

It’s should have been I-589 instead of I-765 but once asylum is approved the receipt number automatically changes to the work permit application. Just to clarify, I got my asylum approved after 7 years.

@Happy Immigrant I had my interview almost 3 weeks ago , my status after interview was “decision pending” now is saying “application pending” this happens to you ?
