Congrats! Did you get approval straight from NBC including RFE or FO?

not really clear, was never notified it moved to FO but my RFE came from and response was sent to a FO in Ohio, so assume everything was transferred. timeline is in the post

Thank you sara b for info. Lucky you.. you didn't have to wait much after submission of your medicals. I submitted by Medicals on Aug 10th in response to the RFE from Phoenix, Az FO and waiting. Did you include just 1 shot of Hep B? My surgeon told even if 3 shots are needed for person for Hep B, just 1 shot of hep B is enough for him to complete my medicals because next shot has to be adminstered after 1 month. I belived him.

just one shot and dr marking as “vaccine history complete” or whatever that point is is enough. as long as they don’t mark it as “not age appropriate”

some surgeons don't read carefully what they're asking for medical exams. I asked them many times to type my name 😂 correctly, sign, write A# on each pages, check all what i need to check up... sealed 😆 an original form, instead they sent me all documents scanned by email

I’m not 100% sure so plz don’t take my word for it but I did read that you can submit stand-alone I-693 (especially if it expired while case is processing) and submit before you receive RFE or interview. not sure though. sucks that such stupid mistake they’re making is triggering these RFEs…hope yours is processed soon! 🤞🏼

my civil surgeon wrote ‘not age appropriate’ 😫 and I just sent my medical on Monday and it’s already delivered. ugh this sucks !

@EB2-1GC approved Aug 2022 it’s so frustrating if that would delay our case , because it’s not our fault 😔Did you receive any response yet after submitting your RFE? also if more doctors are writing ‘not age appropriate’ it might not be a big deal? Pfff I don’t know now.

@k m apparently the doctors have no idea. and aren’t sent updates by USCIS when rules change (find that hard to believe tbh, I just think they don’t keep up). i literally had to pull up the new guidance for my dr and show it to him when even after I got the RFE he still was about to put “not age appropriate” and he was like “wow I guess I have a few to update…” 🙄. maybe USCIS won’t be so focused on it because of the quotas and end of fiscal year approaching 🤷🏻‍♀️🤞🏼

@sara b I truly hope you are right since they just sent me a RFE last Friday and I wanted to send it immediately so that I could (hopefully) be included in getting a green card before the end of their fiscal year. it’s just exhausting that we as the applicants have to inform doctors, lawyers etc of updates/changes in the immigration system. It’s truly unacceptable. I really hope you are right because I’m sure that if they send me another RFE for hep b, it will delay my case and I’ve already been waiting for 2.7 years. 😔

@EB2-1 GC approved Aug 2022 I guess I’ll have to call the civil surgeon again and make him aware of it in the hopes he will amend my I-693 and give me the shot for free 😕
