Abi Ken, the 6 steps is the documentation that you must upload to the NVC portal that includes the passport of the child, the birth certificate and the financial support documents, in my case I only pay the $325 of the visa because my child is a minor and I am a citizen of the United States, the economic support fee appeared to me except (I do not know if only because of my status or because I live in Panama with my child) but in case you have to pay it is $120.
