We filed for my wife in 25 November 2025. We did not use a lawyer. We watched a lot of youtube videos on filling out our application online. We submitted a ton of pictures with details of who, when, what was in the pictures. After a few months of perfecting our application we submitted.
The interview was ok. Details of our meeting, dating, marriage. Briefly touched on consular process outside of the US, but interviewer answered herself with "family separation" as we have a 2 year old together.
We got worried as all the immigration news kept coming out. but after waiting faithfully, my wife finally got approved.
