Appointment Notice
Good evening,
I recently got a message on my online account that my EAD card was ordered. This is part of a pending I-485 application. however, I received a biometrics appointment today in the mail. I already did biometrics in May this year. Has anyone experienced this before? Do I need to still to go even with the message card was ordered??

@God’s Child it’s for the I-765 that I submitted concurrently with I-130, I-485

@Elsa Carvajal yea better safe than sorry. it’s just weird when it shows card ordered but asking for biometrics again 🤷🏿♂️. I’m waiting to see if I get my physical card before the appointment date if not I’ll just go

@Sid yeah if you get your card before your appointment date, ignore the notice, but if not, by all means go do the biometrics again. do you have a lawyer? he/she is in the best position to advise you.
