Applying Insurance Separately
I'm in the process of IR-1 marriage based visa.
My spouse is applying for marketplace insurance. I was wondering if we could apply it separately (because of financial issue). Can anyone tell me about this?
FYI, I don't have a job now.

Hey @Emily Mansell, How are you? I am in the same position and preparing for my interview. We asked our lawyer and was advised to apply jointly even though it’s not mandatory but it shows more concrete proof that the marriage is legit. So my wife (USC) has decided to file jointly. I do not have a job also. I hope that helps. Cheers.
