I was in the same boat.. had applied in May 2022. I contacted my local congressman and after they followed up with USCIS, they approved it within a week. try that option usually it works.

@Simpson S When did you contacted congressman and what reason you provided to them?

@NJ Jha I am still waiting for my AP. case filed August 2022. I-140 approved on September 2022.

@ S SS- did you try expediting or contacting congressman?

@NJ Jha I tried in April this year but nothing happened. two days ago TSC transferred my I-485 case to NBC. I think they forgot my case that’s why it took that long. generally TSC if they don’t forget, they transfer immediately after I-140 approval

been waiting since December 2022, EB1B filer. Tried to expedite via the congressperson here, they denied her request too. Unbelievable, honestly.

in our case, EB1 was filed 1 Jul 2022, primary AP was approved in May 2023 but dependent AP is pending as are our 485s.. called local congressman's office last week, but without luck. They will follow up with USCIS only if there is an emergency

@NJ Jha I contacted congressman office couple of weeks back and they sent me a simple form to fill. In my case it was more than 16months of waiting and I requested a review of case asap. after that within a week, I got the approval notice from TSC. looks like it works for some and doesn’t for others.. but worth giving a shot

@S SS Neither. I used the online request form on their website to contact. Someone from the office then got back for more details.
