AOS vs CP
I would take this October 2024 like we gonna return to June 2024 final action date.
EB3 unskilled has approximately 5,000 cases for AOS ROW.
Does anyone know how many Consular Processing cases in the last FY?
As I read somewhere that only 17% CP get approved each year.

@Th Ng But this doesn’t say that only 17% of the cases are approved. It’s just saying that for EB processes, 17% are consular
Th NgSep 11, 2024
@Matt B yeah which means it is very low CP applicants compared to AOS. I don’t know why we get backlogs for so long if CP is only around 17%
Th NgSep 11, 2024
@Matt B even with 17% CP get GC, there shouldn’t be a big problem for AOS
Matt BSep 11, 2024
@Th Ng But in 2020 and 2021, there were many consular process applications, and on top of that, some consulates were closed for a long time, causing a backlog of EBs during those years. To give you an idea, just until July of this year, 6,000 green cards have already been approved solely for consular processing, and last year there were 5,930. In other words, the backlog is entirely concentrated in consular processes in countries like Vietnam, Mexico, and the Philippines

and many people from 2021 had their green cards approved in 2022 through adjustment of status. So, the consular number will indeed be much higher.

yup 2 more years for 2021 it is
Th NgSep 11, 2024
@Matt B do you think they gonna focus on CP for the Philippine this FY2025? 6,000 is like 2/3 of the total EB3 unskilled
September 2022Sep 11, 2024
my pd 2022 ,probably I will wait 5 more years ,it’s ridiculus ,then now they shouldn’t take any more applicant for EB3 because even if someone apply now ,they will get their green card probably in 10 years
Th NgSep 11, 2024
@September 2022 tgc they can approved all of us at once but they spend those GC for CP, it is ridiculous
September 2022Sep 12, 2024
@Th Ng we can use table B chart for adjustment of status ,check the October table B ,they wrote it .
