AOS i-485 switch employer
if I switch employers after 6 months of filing the i-485, do I keep the same PD?
my current PD is August 25, 2022 with my current company’s PERM filing date.
also does the new employer need to file a i-485J?

You'll keep the same PD. And for i485J, you need to fill it out with your new employer, but there's no clear guidelines on when to file it. I've seen most people recommend just keeping it with you until the interview or if you get rfe.
