Congratulations! Dis he even get his EAD or did it went directly to the green card? What nationality is he?

We got his ead like two weeks ago, so right before the interview. His social security card followed a couple days later via mail after EAD. Would have been nice to have that stuff months ago, but I it is good to have while he waits for his greencard to come in the mail. He is from Mexico.

congratulations! I am also adjusting status from visitor visa . can you please tell me what type of questions were asked & how long was the interview?

Our interview was very short. They asked our address, and where and when we met also the date of our wedding.. The officer looked at our photo album and asked about a couple pics. she went down the list and asked all the basic stuff like do you have a criminal record etc. She asked me if I had any more docs I wanted to add to the file. I added our new taxes and a life insurance policy. when we said we had met on a dating app she asked which one we had met on. my husband and I over prepared. we were sitting here asking each other a million questions and quizzing each other for days. It was super easy and fast. better to be over prepared than under though. we had a lawyer who made sure we got someone who spoke Spanish. when I walked in as a white girl speaking Spanish I think that helped alleviate any doubt. lol 🤣 my advice is to have a lot of great photos and put them in order to kind of tell your story. I think she liked that. she was not very friendly, but she had a job to do and wanted to get her shit done for the day I think. I know not everyone has an experience like this, but I honestly think it is not worth it for them (the officers) to ask too much because it could make more work for them if people make mistakes. Just a theory.
