Anyone with similar experience?
Hi everyone! Just wanted to share my process status in case anyone in here has had a similar experience and has some recommendations on how to progress.
I have submitted my I-485, concurrently with my I-765 and I-131 in early December. Since I have entered the US on a K1 visa, I have not been able to work since November. Due to a pending job offer and mainly my inability to work, I have submitted an Expedite Request for my EAD in January for which I got a response saying to submit another one after Biometrics were completed.
After my Biometrics appointment, which only happened early March, I have submitted 3 Expedite Requests that have been unanswered (not even a call/email with request for evidence). The first one I submitted has been pending for over 75 days. I have contacted USCIS multiple times and they say that the requests are assigned to officers waiting for a decision. I have also spoken with a Tier 2 and Tier 3 (Tier 2 Supervisor) about my situation and the unanswered Expedite Requests and their response was that officers have a lot of requests right now and may never respond to them.
This has been an incredibly frustrating process as it has been 7 months without being able to work and 3 Expedite Request where I haven’t had the possibility to explain my situation. Does anyone have faced a similar situation? Should I continue submitting expedites? Or simply wait for them to respond to the current ones or update my application?
Thank you very much for everyone’s time!

Have you tried expediting with congressman?

when did you do your biometrics?
D CMay 16, 2022
I did my biometrics on March 7th and that was also when I submitted the Expedite Request. I have not tried to Expedite through congressman as I heard it could take a long time, but maybe that is the next step.

submit a request to CIS ombudsman explaining the whole situation in details with all documents. After a few weeks reach out to them to check if they started looking at your files. if yes submit an expedite...

I have already submitted a request to Ombudsman last week explaining the situation, but I have not heard back from them. Is there a way to follow up on the request or contact them?
Ben GaloreMay 16, 2022
I replied to the email and they answered after 4 weeks. once submitted the Ombudsman case should appear on your USCIS case, that could speed up their decision.

Ok, I will do that. It has actually been 20 days since I have submitted a request with them and will try to follow up. I still don’t see any reference to that on my USCIS account.

What is your Priority date?
D CMay 16, 2022
December 9th
Ben GaloreMay 16, 2022
the reference won't appear on your USCIS file but it's in USCIS internal tool (same location than for lawsuits)

Oh wow!
D CMay 16, 2022
@Ben Galore thanks for the clarification, I am sending them an email and potentially submitting an additional request after that.

my pd 10/21/21 adjustment from K1
no EAD, no interview 😭
G MMay 17, 2022
My priority date is December 20th, I did not receive anything yet. I tried to expedite twice but did not work. It is frustrating 😩
D CMay 17, 2022
@G M did you get a response to any of the expedites you submitted?
G MMay 17, 2022
No response at all. I submitted the first expedite request over 2 months ago, and the second one last month via congressman but no answer yet.
D CMay 17, 2022
Same here, I submitted my first expedite almost 3 months ago and then few after that, and no response to any of them. It is very frustrating, especially because they said they were assigned to officers and should be responded within 7 days.
D CMay 18, 2022
Does anyone think it is worth it continuing to submit Expedite Request until I have a response? Or should I just wait for a response on the pending ones?
G MMay 18, 2022
You could also contact USCIS via EMMA and ask to talk to a T2 officer, they might call you back and then you can ask about the status of your expedite request.
D CMay 18, 2022
@G M unfortunately I already had a Tier 2 call and they didn’t know anything about the status of the expedites. I am just not sure if it is worth to continue submitting expedites or if that may harm my case in any way.

@D C Have you had any updates yet, my pd is December 3,2021 and my biometrics Jan28. I’m thinking of expediting but I haven’t heard of much success stories.
D CJun 7, 2022
Hi Jay, I have not heard anything back from my expedite request. I am scheduled for a Tier 2 call today or tomorrow and I am going to ask to submit another expedite request. I just see so many EAD getting approved with or without expedite that I am hoping ours are soon. I would totally try to expedite tbh
