@tired from waitingg you need to file I-765 under C09 category else you have to wait years for your Vawa to be approved

my dear! I filed VAWA in Oct 2018. Gotntwo RFEs and got denied in Sep 2023. Refled and got prima facie and ead with travel document. itās been 1 year. Hope to be approved

I didnāt get anything yet, no rfe, I only got an update since June 5 stating that correspondence was received and they are reviewing.

@jay c no RFE. got like 3 Prima Facie. been requesting for updates on my case and theyāve been giving the same response that they are reviewing my case. Anyone knows how long USCIS background check takes?

@jay c No Rfe yet. Just hanging in there. But I reached out to the Congressman and USCIS responded by saying they are still working on it.

@tired from waitingg yes! I filed as a new application again š. After 5 years I got denied and again I refiled and it will be like a new application. Might have to wait for another 4 - 5 years hahahah. I will be the only one getting VAWA approved after 10 years same like asylum! I am not gonna give up until the day I die and get buried here hahaha. I got so frustrated with this stupid process that I am bold and brave to fight against it.

@tired from waitingg YES. After I refiled the VAWA as a new application , I got the prima facie for the first time and within 2 months I got the c9 ead and advance parole for 5 years validity like what we call combo card. Itās been close to 8 years I have not travelled outside U.S. I joined a new job in a mining plant since a month. After 5 months I will take two weeks and go to meet my old aged parents. itās been a heavy long depressed 8 years in this U.S.š
