I don’t think you file mandamus without an attorney. And 4k is a good deal. All the other places I’ve seen charge 5k and above.

@Star nation please call down. if they are saying they can’t do 4K with a lawyer yet it’s highly recommended you need 1 why else wouldn’t someone try to encourage the person that they’re so close. that stuff isn’t cheap if you didn’t put two and two together. please you’re about to sue the USCIS😂 you think you can afford to make mistakes? I’m not saying it’s impossible to do without a lawyer it’s just challenging because it’ll require a lot time and effort to research & prepare necessary documents. Ofc this person knows better than anyone what’s best for them but don’t try and go off on people that are only trying to encourage them. THANKS🙄

@Hope Hope 💝 I know it’s hard to wait but I suggest you to wait a little bit. Your VAWA was approved this year, so you wait for I485 approval since around 6 months. that’s regular time even for people who apply through their spouses.

@Star nation I agree with @remaining hopeful calm down. why you didn’t sue USCIS and you wait since 2020 for your I485 approval but you advise someone else to sue who wait 6 months

As you know my case has been approved on feb 2024, until that day Uscis kept transferring my case between 5 service centar and firld office , finally stayed in NC field office. my medical form is expired even they didn’t ask to renew it. I saw many people here got their RFE medical couple months after their approval.I really confused what is going on my case , I didn’t inquire, congressional office, Senator office, none of them worked. I waited 38 months for my vawa , it isn’t enough for uscis.
