anyone from aug 2024 F2A got the i130 approval yet?
just checking in to see if people around my priority date have started getting any news. it’s been 16 months almost but no news on F2A.
would love to hear if any of you have started getting case update.

I know the wait is exhausting. From what we’re seeing, August 2024 F2A filers haven’t really started getting I-130 approvals yet, especially at the 16-month mark. F2A is still dealing with heavy backlogs and visa bulletin retrogression, so most cases from mid to late 2024 are still pending. If your petitioner becomes a U.S. citizen at any point, upgrading the case can make a big difference. Otherwise, unfortunately this timeline is still within what USCIS is treating as normal for F2A right now.
