@Yesi SLC nope, day 754 for us. we got a second actively reviewing on my I-485 20 days ago but nothing since then. SLC SUCKS!!! Our case is still in Chicago gathering dust

@jet blue I feel your pain. Did you send in a service request that triggered them to review again?

@Yesi SLC yes and they replied that it's under further review and they can't give me a timeframe for when it will be adjudicated. I don’t even know what else to do.

no:( after my i130 approval I received a notification two days ago that my 485 is now being actively reviewed.

@jet blue same. some people that got transferred to Chicago from SLC got approved at their 18 month mark and I was so hopeful. but the rep said we still have to go by our local field office processing times 😭

@Yesi SLC yup almost all the people who got transferred to Chicago are approved except mine . we are now at 2 years and 2 months since we filed

@jet blue is your case pretty straight forward or complex based off of your background?

@Yesi SLC I would say it’s pretty straightforward. we sent tons of evidence from the time we met 10 years ago including the 6 years we’ve been married.

@jet blue it doesn’t help that they extended the expiration date of medical exams to 4 years. they have more time to adjudicate cases 😭

@jet blue my understanding is with the COVID backlog they extended validation to 4 years. But I’m hoping our cases will be approved soon!

@Yesi SLC I thought they changed it back to two years. my medical expired on Friday which means I’m gonna have to get a new one. I’m so sick and tired of the shit.

@Yesi SLC @jet blue my i130 was approved in June and my i485 changed to actively reviewing in Sept 16. I contacted my lawyer and the local congressman maybe 2 months ago. not sure if that made a difference.

I am from Canada and we have two kids. not sure if that also makes a difference

I’m seriously rooting so hard for you guys we’ve been in the same situation for so long. I really hope it happens soon

@Robyn B thank you! we need as many good vibes as possible. my I-130 is still not approved my I-485 changed to actively reviewing on 25 August and nothing since than other than my case was transferred to SLC Fo in October for an interview . we still haven’t gotten an RFE or Interview notice .

@Robyn B my I-130 is still pending 😫 I’m going to call on Friday to see what is going on. I’ve already had my congressman reach out and they said I have to do an expedite. Did you request an expedite?
