how long it took before submission to transfer of case to field office

Andy, I submitted full application sep 2022. I don’t know when my case was transferred to Kendall field office. I was not notified through status updates that the case was transferred to field office. I got to know about it when I chatted through Emma. But the officer said they cannot reveal the date of when the transfer happened

is ur PD current by Porting a old PD? Transfer to field office is good news as field office usually processes I-485.

Andy- hopefully 🤞🏻 yes my PD was automatically ported from my older EB2 application

div- did your I -140 and I-485 reflect the Sep 2022 date or the old PD date

Andy- it reflected the old PD I.e 2017

@north west- I heard it automatically happens in uscis system … you can also check your PD in your recent I-485 receipt notice

How do you find out where your case is? Every time I ask an Emma live agent where my case is they tell me the the status I can see myself on USCIS website.

keep asking the same question couple of times, or type “live agent”. then Emma asks a question to you like “choose the below options regarding which you need to talk to live agent” …. choose “green card” and then it will connect to a live agent

that’s great ! good news is hopefully on the way :) I’m in the same situation with my EB2 PD ported to EB1, but exactly two months behind you. no updates for me after biometrics appt though :( please update us when you get an approval, and all the best !!

@div space, @andy andy, @north west, in case of date porting, what dates have you guys entered on your I485 application form? The EB1 PD or the EB2/EB3 date?. i believe there is question asking about PD of primary applicatant on page 4/20

hi div space, did you get any shipping notification since it got approved? mine got approved 3 days ago and I am wondering how long it takes to ship!

@P D got my EAD Jan 30th and my spouse got their EAD/AP combo card April 11th. but no updates on the AOS!

oh damn, I’m also at Kendall and this sounds scary. was your ported PD current throughout and do you have an approximate idea when your case was transferred to Kendall?

@P D mine actually was ported to San Bernardino FO mid Feb. but my PD was ported throughout. it’s been there ever since ! so hopefully you have better luck than I do :)
