I might be wrong but I think they don’t really honor the month PD, my PD is March 2022 and I’m still in CRP despite current , same to many applicant in February 2022 or earlier
but I might be wrong

Then my CRP endsDec 11, 2024
@Y J , you are totally right! sometimes I thought that they check the order by EB1, EB2 then for EB3, they check by filling date(because all of us are already current). Keeping your hope and pray for God (like me)!

what’s your priority date and 485 application receipt date ?
battling giantsDec 11, 2024
so confirmed with Ask Emma and other sources - USCIs does not prioritize based on priority date . priority date is just an entry ticket into the application processing . if your priority date is current that just means you will not get into the wait list or pause (until it becomes current). if your priority date is current throughout the process USCIS has a random prioritization process - some get approved in few months , others can take years - this is purely luck . what you can do is file a service request requesting an update - that’s usually 15 months after the application submission date to inquire about the remaining processing time. some are lucky to get 485 approved in 3 months doesn’t mean we can expect that to be the expectation for cases going forward . in general expect low and life will be good. USCIS isn’t a company that will try to better the experience - they are doing a favor by granting permanent residency and adhere to no time limits . I have seen some posts take 2 years for approvals . in short, expect the process to take its time , 80% of the applications take 10 months approx , some might take 3-4 months others can take upto 2 years .

@battling giants well said, all the application is randomly assigned to officer hence there is no first come first serve basis
