you can fill a I-90 with evidence that they made a mistake.

You should because to remove conditions is going to cost you. Why pay for someone else’s mistake?

@Francis A depends on your Approval date.. Your interview was it after your 2nd year anniversary or before? If your interview was before your 2 years and you received a verbal approval and was just waiting for the GC, they might count it as a conditional because you had an approval before your 2nd year. But if they asked you some documents after your interview to decide on whether to grant you GC, you will obtain your Permanent because they didn't make a final decision to your case. Conditional GC and Permanent GC depends on the day of the approval. I have a friend whose GC was approved on the day of his interview which was less than 2 years of Marriage, but he has to wait 2 more years for him to receive his card. His card was a till in production. When he went to see a lawyer because of a mistake, uscis advised his approval was less than 2 years of Anniversary even though the card was in production for extra year. We were all chocked but better that than nothing. I also learned something.
In your case, to better understand, my advice is to call USCIS and ask them or you can walk-in to your local uscis office and they will tell you.
