@S K , is your PD current? If yes, approval can happen within 2 to 6 months otherwise it will be USCIS until your PD becomes current.

@raza khan For AOS USCiS at times used filling date instead of FAD. Filing date not necessary means your PD is current but FAD does.

Salam my pd is 9 December 22 and still waiting for approval of 485.i have ead aand travel parole approved in three and half months . I filed in 2 may 2024 on eb2. from pakistan.

@T A yes, my PD is current. @raza khan on your uscis account the timeline has passed for i765 and for i485 it’s showing 2 months but I have read many posts, that timeline is not accurate. You can get approval before that time and can take more time as well.

@S K have you chatted with Emma? what center is the 485 at? ask Emma the status. you will know if At a non local or local field office. then you can check average case processing times on uscis website. what is your block number?

@DesiGirl2010 Chackunny I did chat with Emma, my case is still at NBC. it’s been 6 months since my filling date, I don’t know if it be transferred to local field office or not. many cases have been approved without getting transferred I hope that happens to my case as well. I’m not sure what the block number means (my case starts with IOE)

@S K my block is 09260XXXXX You can estimate how long your case approval will take (worst case) by visiting this site https://www.casestatusext.com/forms/I-485/IOE-LB My block has had ~100 approvals in the last week (look at pie chart under case tool when you click the burger). Hope this helps.

@S K yes 765 was approved in 83 days for me and in 43 days for my dependent spouse. No biometrics. no RFE. No expedited nor Congress request.

@DesiGirl2010 Chackunny thank you, my spouse 765 case was also approved in 40 days. it’s been more than 6 months for my case and still no update.

@S K but you probably have an H1/L1 petition to work? i think the uscis assumes spouses need the ead more than petitioner…
