COB- India EB1C PD: Sep 2014( from EB2) RD: Oct 2024 Filed for I485 and I765 after I140 approval in Oct 2024. Biometrics in Nov 2024. Both 765 and 485 still pending. Derivative applicant got EAD in December but primary still pending. Case outside normal processing time now. Raised service request but haven't heard back. Last API update on 6/17 Case is with non local field office in San Bernardino.

PD Dec 2020 RD Jan 2025 - Filed concurrently EAD May 2025 Emma agent informed case is with San Bernardino (non FO). Event FAT0 on 12th June. Waiting…

EB1C, PD June 2021 - ported from EB2, India. RD - Dec 16th, IOE EAD &AP - Approved May. Card received from NBC. RFE for 485 on April 7 to resubmit supplement J from non-local FO. RFE responded -April 30, USCIS acknowledges RFE receipt on May 6 API updates on May 6 and May 21. Nothing since!!

@Sa Ve - ummm not really, but my guess is coz the attorney is the primary contact on the case !! I signed a G-28 form when they filed the cases.

@black blazer ya. we didn’t have any such communication from lawyers. besides, you’re just checking the status so should be fine if you contact. my timeline initially decreased to 3months and after the api update it went up by 2months. have you noticed this too?

@s p my timeline went up by 2 months too after the api update. It was at 3 months. Now says 5 months.

thanks for the reply about being able to contact Emma. I've been asked not to !! my timeline jumped from 6 to 8 months after RFE response was submitted.

@black blazer Contacting Emma has nothing to do with G28 and has no impact on representation. You can definitely contact Emma and ask about your case.

me and my dependents got email about action taken. On my 485, it moved from Rfe response received to rfe issued to case is actively reviewed & “attend interview” is ticked green. for my kid, it changed to “case actively reviewed” and attend interview ticked green. for my wife , it changed to case actively reviewed and then to rfe issued , but no notice on documents tab.

@Cricket Smile These are all really good signs. Definitely no interview since it is at non-local FO. Expect a decision soon. Hopefully next couple to few days.

@amdsk a but for my wife, there were also two emails, within difference of 2 mins. first update says actively reviewing and second said rfe issued. but portal does not show any notice under documents. for me and my kid, the “interview” box is green ticked.

@Cricket Smile it takes time for things to reflect on portal. Sometimes you get multiple notifications over day or days before something shows up on documents tab. Bottomline is an officer at non-local field office is performing final review or completed his review but it just hasn’t reflected yet. Keep a close eye during upcoming days. It will eventually be similar to how another post recently had their updates.

@amdsk a I see the notices now for me and dependent , it is about medical examination had incomplete information ss per their review, so need to resubmit with required information.
