hey! I’ve seen many approvals after RFE. however sadly judging by the date you submitted the i485 you may have a bit to go.. I applied in July 2022 and here I am with an update 3 days ago “USCIS is actively reviewing your case” 🙄 after sitting from July 2022 until February 2023 when they decided to send me an rfe and now the “reviewing my case”. praying that we all have this nonsense over and done soon 🤞🏻🤞🏻.

@Debbie Amarachi so the financial is not asked on the I-485 but there is a required form for the US citizen spouse to file with the I-485 which is I-864 which needs to be filed before you will even be considered for an interview. sadly you will be receiving an RFE. the medical there is a section about it telling you that you can do it and submit it with your application but the medical is not necessary until you have an interview, in which case you will need to have the medical done prior to your interview to take with you on the day of. and for your own sake remember not to open anything you get from the medical otherwise it will automatically be treated as tampered with and you would have to go and pay and do the medical all over again
