Answer for a case Outside of the processing time
How long does it usually take for a case to get a decision after the USCIS acknowledges that the case is outside of the processing time?

You need to send inquiry.
I send inquiry for my travel document 50 days ago ,still no response, even USCIS said they will contact me in 3 weeks from the day i send inquiry

I don’t think they have any time to make decisions. today make it 417 that I filed i485 and 270 that, I submitted RFE. on the 7th of April I made an inquiry the officer acknowledged that my case is extremely out of normal. she said she will submit my inquiry. according to what she said while I was on phone with her. she said my case is with Supervisor and she will send my inquiry to the supervisor, that they will reply me in 30 days and if I don’t hear from them that I should call back. A week later I received a letter from them that, ready your “Case is extended supervisor review “ now the question is that would that mean the reply she was talking about or decision? that is really confusing. So @ Armando Rodriguez, acknowledgement by USCIS of your case is outside of their normal processing time does not guarantee decision...

In this case is a form I-130. My guess is that if they acknowlege that a case is a outside of the processing time, they should take those cases as a priority 'cause obviously is delayed but who knows how this people work
