Am I eligible to do interfile?
I have EB-2 & EB-3 I-140 with Employer A. Both I-140s approved.
Employer A filed my I-485 under EB-3 & got my GC Combo Card & not used.
I have joined Employer B with H1-B transfer (after 180 days of my I-485 receipt) & filed I-485 Supplement J under EB-3.
Now USCIS announced to do interfile if you have approved EB-2.
My question here is, I do not have any I-140s with Employer B. Still am I eligible to do interfile under EB-2 with Employer B?

This can be tricky. Did you port your I-140 to employer B by any chance?
I changed job way long after 180 days of I-485, my I-140 was already approved since 2 weeks after reception with premium processing. Although I didn’t need to interfile under another category, my attorney chose to refile a new I-140 for employer B to be on the safe side. What does your attorney advise?
