Am depressed
my Vawa was approved since March 2021, no medical request, nothing since then, I switched from marriage base to vawa, I dont know if am suppose to file a new i485 through vawa or they will use the previous marriage base i485 ..its frustrating and confusing

you might want to talk to a lawyer or go ahead and file another 485 based upon approved VAWA

Most of these Attornies are half baked. bro, file your 485 now. it is straight forward. Google how to fill 485 or watch a YouTube video.

@JF k thank you am doing that already, I was told to do by the Uscis, that the previous one has been closed, but do I have to pay a new filing fee or attach the old recipt?

@j h, you have to pay new filling fee. your GC is more valued than the cost of filling a new i485. so you are the one holding yourself from accessing that benefit

FA, receipt after 3mth, fee waive, case transferred to another office, then last update fingerprint shows taken...that's where we are now, so far its moving I hope
