ALL AOS MARRIAGE 130/485 are adjudicated at a field office not the benifit centers.
Hi,,,,,, I have taken a long break from this app since getting my greencard in December 2024. I wanted post this to try and help those doing an AOS. All AOS are adjudicated at your local field office. Benifit centers only decide on a 765 and 131 for an AOS. Benifit centers look at your application, make sure nothing is missing and then send your 130 and 485 to your field office. This transfer can happen electronically or the physical file can be sent. You won’t necessarily know when your file is transferred. It will not show on this app. The time for approval is highly dependent on your field office. To find out if your file has been transferred, you can call USCIS and keep saying info pass to get a real person. Ask if your file has been transferred. Emma is useless and the agents typing are not helpful. www.uscis.gov/about-us/find-a-uscis-office/field-offices https://egov.uscis.gov/processing-times/ My link is not hyperlink? You can copy and paste. Enter your zip code in the first one and then enter your info in the second link which will give you your average wait time. I have learned so much about all of this and wanted to post this. Wishing everyone the best.

@Eva diva It is hard to say as each center is different. It also depends if they send you a REF from the center. For example, I had my biometrics done in March and in May they requested my medical. All medical needs to be sent at the time of the application now which is better. It took 6 mo the from the time it was sent to it getting to a field office. If I had not had the REF, I feel I would have been approved very fast. Within one week of my file being transferred to the Detroit office, I was approved with no interview. If the field office requests more documentation, it can be fast as they have started looking at your file. I was notified that action had been taken when my file was transferred to Detroit but it did not state what it was. I called USCIS and asked very specifically if my file was transferred and they said yes.
