advice please 🙏🏾
I asked asylum few years before got married and after my married interview I lost my asylum case (removal proceeding) but my lawyer advised me to appeal for my asylum what we did my appeal is open and pending waiting for decision. my married application is pending too (-130 and I-485 ) for 1010 days almost 3years now. I call Uscis they said my 2 cases is on green pending waiting for decisions, they said I just have to wait there’s nothing that I can do at this time and my EAD expired 2 months ago I applied to renew it 5 Months ago still pending also.
my appeal can be the problem ?
cause my lawyer said appeal reopened my asylum case so my not in removal proceeding anymore till the decision is made it’s true ?
please advise 🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾

wait don’t withdraw your asylum case , after you get gc through marriage then you can close your asylum case it takes about 2 or 3 months

what happened with your marriage interview ? when did u guys attend the interview ?

@domino 23 I think everything went well the immigration officer said the case will be reviewed before making a decision it was on January 2022

if it went well u should at least get I-130 approved. did u get that approve ? u need that I-130 before you touched your removal proceeding. I don’t understand when u said appeal ? appeal to where ? USCIS or court ?
