Advice on Delayed EB2-NIW I-140 and Congressional Inquiry Process
My I-140 petition under the EB2-NIW category has been pending beyond the normal processing time.I have raised a service request but its been 30 days and no answer yet . I consulted with my attorney, and they advised me to seek help from my local congressperson by submitting a request to the federal agency to follow up with USCIS about the status of my petition.
I’m curious to know if anyone in this community has gone through a similar process. Should I choose to go the congressional inquiry route, or should I also submit another service request to USCIS separately? Would taking this approach affect my case in any way—positively or negatively?
Any insights, tips, or shared experiences would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance for your help!

I waited for 23 months, 5 service requests, 5 congressional, 1 senators. To my opinion they don't work. when I got the generic email on month 23 I immediately did PP and got approved in 11 days. My advice is do PP
